They propose that these eyeglasses make an image on the retina which then sends a signal to satiety center. The satiety center in turn gives a feeling of filling to the body. In this way the appetite of a person is depressed. They also claim that certain colors have more strong appetite depressing effect when used in this type of eyewear. All these claims are yet to be proven and thee is no scientific evidence of any kind to support their theory. So this type of weight loss device therapy should be avoided and discouraged

In acupuncture different nerve endings are stimulated to get required medicinal effects with the help of a set of some fine needles. Earrings are claimed to work on the similar basis that they stimulate some nerve endings in the ear lobule which causes the depression of appetite. All of this is not proved by any scientific study. So do not go for weight loss earrings if you are planning to cut some pounds off. First of all seek medical advice from your physician and accordingly plan weight loss program.
