Satiety eyeglasses are described to depress appetite by just their wearing. This type of eyewear is being marketed in the name of weight loss therapy. It is a specific fraudulent which is cashed in the name of obesity treatment. Satiety eyewear marketers claim a high level of appetite depression which is possible with this eyewear. The mechanism of working of this type of weight loss gadget described by them is totally unconvincing. They propose that these eyeglasses make an image on the retina which then sends a signal to satiety center. The satiety center in turn gives a feeling of filling to the body. In this way the appetite of a person is depressed. They also claim that certain colors have more strong appetite depressing effect when used in this type of eyewear. All these claims are yet to be proven and thee is no scientific evidence of any kind to support their theory. So this type of weight loss device therapy should be avoided and discouraged
